Produce name： Fresh Water Generator Produce name： Fresh Water Generator Introduced leading technology from North America Marine Design & Research Institute, NMDR-FWG series fresh water generator is designed on board to make drinking water, boiler feeding water and other kinds of water. By installing the fresh water generator on board, the load of the vessel can be highly increased. NMDR-FWG series fresh water generator is widely used on offshore platforms, diesel engines, ocean passenger/ cargo vessels and fishing vessels. Features: The device makes use of the waste heat of jacket water (fresh water) without any fuel consumption. At the same time, it can work as an exchanger to make 1m3 fresh water with about 7KWH consumption. There is a steam/water separation plate in the evaporation chamber. About the heater: The seawater goes through the inside of the heating tubes; the jacket water (fresh water) goes through the outside of the heating tubes; the time for staying in the heater of seawater and brine will be shorter so that the concentration will be less as well. Evaporation can even be carried out under low temperature in the evaporation chamber because of high vacuum assured by the water ejector. So it’s not necessary to remove the rust stuck on the inside heating tubes to achieve specified water generation capacity. All the parts are together mounted on a bottom plate for small occupation.
